(by I.T.Kostka)

I met Alberto Amati some time ago on Facebook and, in December 2019, I attended with pleasure one of his concerts in Poland, in my hometown of Poznań. His contagious smile and kindness easily conquered the Polish public, allowing Alberto to fulfill his dreams and successfully continue his artistic career.

In these days we have talked a lot and here I am with an exclusive interview and with a special greeting all for you:

“Good morning to all dear Italians, in this difficult moment for everyone, I wanted to thank you for your courage and strength of mind. I wish you a good read and I hope that we will soon return to our normal life” (A.A.)

1. I.T.K .: How did your adventure with music start? Was it a personal choice wanted or dictated by the coincidences of life?

A.A .: I was about 6 years old…

Interviews: from my interview for WhipArt Magazine. About the #TerminalRealism #Realismoterminale

Interviews: from my interview for WhipArt Magazine. About the #TerminalRealism.

” (…) Certainly poetry is not a very popular however, I note with great pleasure that the new generations are starting to approach the Muses through numerous cultural initiatives: various readings, Slam Poetry, unconventional meetings, events in schools, fairs of book, Open Mic, outdoor performances, etc. Returning to the speech about the Terminal Realism: this movement arouses great curiosity, understanding and desire to experiment among young people. I believe that to engage the masses, poetry must become more rooted in our times, abandon the useless frills and the superficial idealisation by conquering, through the expressive immediacy, transparency and emotion concentrated in an essential and contemporary language, a stylistic “new awareness” and communicative power. This literary genre should no longer be seen as a relic of the past, but should be able to stimulate the intellect and emotions of the readers by approaching reality, it should open new horizons coming out of the rigid schemes (…)“.

• “(…) I have always felt different and a little inadequate for the “traditional” literary world. I have never feared going into an experimental language, debatable, scathing and without taboos, the controversy does not scare me: I am loved and, at the same time, hated. My approach to the Terminal Realism movement took place in 2016, with participation in the “Novecento ever again. Towards Terminal Realism” anthology, with a letter from Guido Oldani and published by La Vita Felice editions. Finally I found myself “at home”. My “oddities” have found a definition and a right direction. Yes, I believe that Terminal Realism, like a bulldozer, is able to smooth out the old soil to bring out the new earth, a new artistic field more adherent to our crazy times. He neither denies nor cancels anything, but through inverted similarities, in which an object becomes a subject, manages to better convey the cacophony of our times. In fact, this movement is of great interest to the younger generations by conquering school desks. His artistic style opens up new horizons, stimulates and inspires intellect and creativity. In Terminal Realism, life is no longer the same as the usual four seasons, but changes like the shots in a short film, flows quickly and is always unpredictable. My mind has always been very open and multi-faceted, multi-colored and multinational, and in this current I find fertile ground for my rebellious creativity (…)”
